University of Pittsburgh Community Engagement Center (CEC) - Homewood

Description: The CEC in Homewood is part of Pitt’s effort to build stronger communities and a stronger University based on long-term place-based partnerships. In partnership with residents and stakeholders in the Homewood community, the University is making long-term commitments of investment, infrastructure, programming, and staffing in Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods. The Homewood CEC offers a medication and wellness education center, babysitting certification classes, and hope for handwriting to help children with their handwriting skills along with many more services.
