The Healthy Village Learning Institute

Description: The Healthy Village Learning Institute uses culturally aligned modules designed as a resiliency-based mandate to address the "risk" domains of the Individual, Family, School, Peers, Community, Technology, and Health and Wellness. The Healthy Village uses African-centered learning to provide non-traditional practical applications for understanding and participating in Urban and Global Community issues from a strength and solution-based process. They educate, inspire, and engage people to become change agents within their communities with a specific focus on youth development.
